One of the things I've wanted to do, like forever, is visit the desert in bloom. This year I had the opportunity to go on a photo shoot to the Anza Borrego and Joshua Tree state parks at just this perfect time of the year.

Even though I was born in Arizona and lived in San Diego for 12 years, I'd never been out to the heart of the desert in the Spring to experience the bloom. It was amazing...
